Dr. Tim Steinecke is Director, Germany for Conservation International, the environmental non-profit. Since 1987, Conservation International has worked to spotlight and secure the critical benefits that nature provides to humanity.
Prior to joining Conservation International, Tim worked with Fortune 100 leaders and organisations on finding ways to grow through finding innovative partners and understanding how socio-economic, political, and environmental topics impact their business..
Tim has substantial on-the-ground experience engaging in politics and business across Europe, Asia, and Africa, including assessing the increasing entry of politics into business and vice versa. He worked at the intersection of government and state-owned companies, with a particular focus on the energy sector. Tim holds degrees from the University of St Andrews, Passau University, and the School of Oriental and African Studies.
